Ocean Acidification (OA) is a global issue that is threatening our ocean ecosystem. As a Pacific Islander, we are more vulnerable to the impacts of OA as our livelihoods largely depend on our marine ecosystem. We have already started experiencing the impacts of OA on our corals and marine species. Reducing carbon pollution and carrying out thorough biological and chemical monitoring in our waters is needed so that we could reduce the spread of ocean acidification which is spreading like wildfire!
