We are excited to invite you to GGRC’s latest Roundtable Series workshop, where visionary minds from around the world will converge to explore innovative approaches to green recovery, and the intersection of economics and ecology.

In a rapidly changing world where the threads of economics and ecology are more intertwined than ever, we have the chance to redefine green recovery strategies for the better. This workshop is your gateway to discovering novel ways to achieve a thriving economy, environmental stewardship, and community well-being.

Meet our Panelists:

Gabriela Cabaña

Gabriela is a PhD candidate in anthropology at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the UK. She is part of the Centre for Socio-Environmental Analysis, Degrowth London and the Basic Income Earth Network. Her research focuses on energy transitions and planning, the morality of work and productivism, and degrowth from a Latin American perspective.

Gastón Laffitte

Gastón Laffitte is a Public Accountant with a humanistic inclination. In 2018 he joined the Latin American Ethical Banking and worked actively for its realisation. He is currently a member of the Rio de la Plata Executive Committee, which leads the operations in Argentina and Uruguay.

Melisa Díaz Acuña

Melisa Díaz Acuña has a degree in Business Administration (UNC) and is a facilitator of transformation processes and New Economies. She is co-director of the Plataforma de Introducción a las Nuevas Economias (PINE) and co-director of the Academia de Mujeres Emprendedoras (AWE).
