Area of expertise description
Currently, I employ current and future climate change scenarios to understand the societal impacts of sea level rise and temperature on the ecosystems surrounding the coastal communities. I specialise in the science communications, educations (climate literacy), and focus on Integrated climate change solutions with the local communities e.g these living near the Baltic sea. Given my 13 years of expertise in climate change research and knowledge, i am deeply passionate about transforming this into sustainable development, esp in marine environments and ecosystem restoration projects. In the past, i have participated in various volunteer programs e.g. the WWF Fiji, where i have lead community conservation projects e.g. Mangroves and seagrass restoration and community based adoptions to specific climate change impacts such as flooding, and drought induced changes in agriculture. During this, i have also built my own collaborations with the local communities, and carried out research highlighting the need for climate change mitigation and adaptation on the community levels for a better resilience and ensured long term environmental sustainability for the community through specific implemented frameworks. I would be interested in contributing to the current green recovery efforts, and given my passion about conservation and sustainability as well as my above skills and experience, i am sure i can contribute in a significant and impactful manner.

Type of collaboration
Given my above expertise, i would like to collaborate with local teams to implement the GGRC's strategic initiatives in a pivotal role, e.g. in climate change science outreach/communications (or climate literacy) training workshops or leading meetings on climate change adaptation and community based solutions on different regional communities that are heavily impacted by several combined challenges of current and future climate changes like extreme events of high temperature, droughts and flooding. With my expertise as a climate change specialist, i wish to engage the local communities most affected by various sectors of climate change in tackling developing challenges, through leading specialised tailor workshops that adhere to individual needs. I am also open to exploring different initiatives. I am fully dedicated for this incredible challenge and want to be a part of the global organisation dedicated to protecting our planet. I believe that together, we can make a real and meaningful difference for the environment and the communities that depend on it.
