Short Bio
Teona is from Tbilisi, Georgia. She holds a masters degree in law and has over 12 years of working experience with international organizations and non profit sector. Her areas of expertise include management, sustainable development, democratic governance, public outreach and voter education, legislative reform, capacity building, advocacy and human rights promotion.  Teona started her career at the largest election watchdog organization in Georgia, International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED).  Later she worked for the world's largest international organisations, Organizations for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Working for those organizations, enabled her to engage in policy issues, participate in high level discussions, provide advice and advocate for a number of positive changes aimed at the country's democratic development.  Teona is a fully accredited facilitator of BRIDGE which stands for Building Resources in Democracy, Governance and Elections. It is a capacity development tool, designed to be used for institutional excellence. The curriculum was developed by the United Nations Development Programe, Australian Electoral Commission, International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, International foundation for Electoral Systems and the United Nations Department of Political and Peace building Affairs. Teona contributed to the publication of the Georgian version of the BRIDGE manual focused on capacity development of electoral actors in Georgia.  Currently Teona is based in Los Angeles, California and is supporting the leadership of the Global Green Recovery Collaborative (GGRC). The aim of the GGRC platform is to enable action and collaboration for green recovery from all environmental challenges.

To find GGRC Members and Advisors, click “Select a Group” (General Member or Advisor) or click “Select Country” and type the name of the country in the search bar.

GGRC Advisors are members who decide to further highlight their expertise and are interested and have an interest in being contacted to share  what they know with fellow members.
